About ACERA
The Chilean Association of Renewable Energy and Storage (ACERA A.G.) is a non-profit organisation that unites over 150 members — including developers, generators and suppliers from both Chile and abroad — across the entire renewable energy value chain. Established to promote the protection of the environment and sustainable development in Chile, ACERA focuses on advancing renewable energy sources and energy storage systems, which are considered complementary technologies. Its mission is to foster the development of non-fossil, sustainable renewable resources and energy storage systems, enhance energy efficiency and mitigate and adapt to climate change, all in alignment with the country’s needs and possibilities. ACERA envisions a sustainable Chile powered entirely by renewable electricity, aiming to be a leader in climate change mitigation and adaptation through the use of renewable energy.
