Join REN21 and ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability in discussing what made 2016 another record year for renewables and how cities have contributed.
Learn more about the role of good data to improve renewable energy policies and foster climate action. The webinar will present the highlights of the newly released REN21 Renewables 2017 Global Status Report. ICLEI will showcase how local governments are already contributing to the energy transition through the overview of local renewable energy commitments and actions voluntarily reported in the carbonn Climate Registry. The City of Vancouver will share its experience on the relevance of data reporting for policy development and progress monitoring.
