REN21 at COP21

For the first time at any UN climate conference, renewable energy solutions will be showcased to governments, media and the public in a series of high profile events taking place primarily from 4-7 December – a “renewable energy track” – demonstrating that renewable energy deployment is the fastest, cleanest, most reliable and most economically beneficial way to meet our climate goals. Coined Re-Energising the Future, the series of events is being coordinated by a partnership consisting of the European Commission (EC), the French Syndicate for Renewable Energy (SER), IRENA, REN21 and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE.
