Peer Review of Renewables 2017 Global Status Report

REN21plusThe first round of peer review of GSR 2017 has  started and we need your expert input. This year we have a brand new, user-friendly review platform called “Annotate” so now providing comments is easier than ever.

 

Reviewers can choose to focus on the section most closely aligned with your specific knowledge and expertise. Texts to review include:

 

  • Distributed Renewable Energy for Energy Access
  • Enabling Technologies & System Integration (Electric Mobility, Storage, and Heat Pumps)
  • Policy Landscape
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Feature: Dispelling the Baseload Power Myths
  • The Energy Access–Energy Efficiency Nexus

A Distributed Renewable Energy (DRE) Reference Table can also be reviewed. Here we invite you to include DRE market data for 2015 and 2016 (number of systems, installed capacities, customers served, etc.) for developing countries.

A second review round for all remaining chapters and sidebars in the GSR 2017 will be available for comment in March/April 2017. Please note that those text that are currently being reviewed (see list above)  WILL NOT be available for comment in the second round so use this opportunity now to provide your input!
